A 400 level Student was allegedly stabbed in university of Ilorin while reading in one of the school's lecture hall. This has caused panic among the student who are always going to read in the lecture hall preparing for some tests and exams.  The school's authority has therefore told the students to stop all night classes till the sch has resumed fully.  He said; Dear Students, We have received news of the ugly incident that occured at about 7.30pm today with respect to the attack on Ajibola Olamide , a 400 level MCB student. The attack from yet to be identified invader was said to be due to attempt to hijack the victim's laptop while studying in one of the lecture halls. The situation is calm now. Olamide is very stable and receiving deserved attention. Security operatives are equally on ground for expected role.  We appeal for no panic situation as there is no need for such. Meanwhile, students are enjoined to remain calm, go about their normal activities, move in groups

 Filmmaker Kemi Adetiba has released a documentary teaser of the making of the sequel to her movie King of Boys.  The 41-year-old shared the video on Instagram on Friday. The video featured several actors including Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, Sola Sobowale, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD). King of Boys sequel is a Netflix original movie. Kemi has been teasing fans about the movie since they finished shooting in November 2020. She took to social media to announce that they were done on the set of the movie. “Can’t believe it, what a ride! Thank you everyone for the prayers and well wishes sent to guide us,” she wrote. Fans including singer Adekunle Gold have begged Kemi to release the movie. King of Boys is a 2018 Nigerian political thriller film written, co-produced and directed by Kemi Adetiba.  Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has been appointed ambassador for peace building by the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC).  Tonto revealed this in an Instagram post on Friday. The actress shared a picture of herself and the executive secretary of NCPC Rev. Yakubu Pam at his office in Abuja. Tonto said, “We had an extensive deliberation on NCPC vision, dissecting the values for National development and youth involvement in peace building in line with the NCPC’s mandate.” The actress also solicited prayers from her followers for the peace building mission. Tonto’s visit to the NCPC office was also captured by Rev Pam in an Instagram post on Thursday. “Today I received the Director, Socials and Empowerment, Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) @tontolet of @officalthetontodikehfoundation,” he wrote.  Rappers Vector and MI Abaga have reportedly ended their beef and are set to collaborate on a song titled ‘Crown of Clay’.  This was announced by both rappers on Twitter on Thursday. Their beef started in 2016 with cypher clashes and was fueled by MI’s 2017 song ‘You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Life’. The song would go on to win the awards for both the Best Rap Single and Lyricist On The Roll at The Headies 2018. Several diss tracks between the duo persisted from 2018 and 2020. Announcing the collaboration, Vector wrote: “You know what to do to your post notification. #CrownOfClay.” On his part, MI wrote: “Crown of Clay. V & M. Soon.” The two rappers were on the same song together for the first time on Mayorkun’s ‘Geng Naija Remix’ in 2020.  Briton Jasmine Harrison, 21, has become the youngest female to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean after completing a 3,000-mile (4,800-kilometer) journey from Spain to Antigua, according to organizer Atlantic Campaigns. Harrison completed the 2020 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge on Saturday in 70 days, 3 hours and 48 minutes -- a new world record for the youngest female to row solo across any ocean, Atlantic Campaigns said. Along the way, she had a "near collision with a drilling ship, two capsizes, lots of peanut butter and Nutella consumed," Harrison said on Twitter. A native of Okene in Kogi State, Mercy is known to speak English, Yoruba, Igbo and Pigin. The other three languages are not known.
