 The Mambilla Plateau is a plateau in the Taraba State of Nigeria. The plateau is Nigeria's northern continuation of the Bamenda Highlands of Cameroon. The Mambilla Plateau has an average elevation of about 1,600 metres (5,249 ft) above sea level, making it the highest plateau in Nigeria. [1] Some of its villages are situated on hills that must be at least 1,828 metres (5,997 ft) high above sea level. Some mountains on the plateau and around it are over 2,000 metres (6,562 ft) high, like the Chappal Waddi (more appropriate name: Gang) mountain which has an average height of about 2,419 metres (7,936 ft) above sea level.  Pan- Yoruba socio- political or­ganisation, Afenifere has said the Northerners cannot threaten the South with with­drawal of cattle and other food produce as there are other al­ternatives where the items can be purchased. There have been fears that acute shortage of beef, vege­tables, tomatoes and onions, among other essential edibles from the North may soon hit Southern Nigeria as foodstuff and cattle breeders, under the aegis of Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Deal­ers of Nigeria (AUFCDN) had four days ago threatened to withdraw their services. However, Yinka Odumakin, the organisation’s National Publicity Secretary, who spoke in a chat with Saturday INDE­PENDENT listed countries such as Togo and Benin Repub­lics as friendly countries where the South can purchase cattle and other items withdrawn by the North. Chadwick Boseman‘s final tweet by his family announcing his death has become the most liked post in Twitter history. The 43-year-old American actor, best known for playing Black Panther in the hit Marvel superhero franchise died on Friday, August 28, after a four-year battle with colon cancer. He died at home in Los Angeles with his wife and family by his side. In a public statement, Twitter noted how “fans are coming together on Twitter to celebrate the life of Chadwick Boseman, and the tweet sent from his account is now the most-liked tweet of all time on Twitter.” The social media giant confirmed the accolade on its own account, with the caption:  “Most liked Tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King. #WakandaForever.” Twitter also brought back the “Black Panther” hashtag emoji in honor of the late actor.
